If Trump Goes To Prison.....

                                                          former President Donald J Trump We are all watching how one Court house after another keeps indicting Donald Trump (3rd till date) , the 45th president of the United States. We are all presumed innocent until we go to trial and are either convicted or the jury aquitts or he takes a guilty plea. But what happens if Trump gets convicted and ends up in prison. What will be his reaction ? The man is a billionaire. Will his money help him in prison ? Will it protect him? Based on what my uncle Sheldon Langner taught me before I ended up in prison, I have the following insights.... Where ever you are in life, you get used to it. That is the bottom line. Whether you are living in a castle or living in a dungeon, human nature will adapt to the circumstances. Jeffrey Epstein indicted

epstein under the spot light... Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, William F. Sweeney Jr., the Assistant Director in Charge of the New York Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), and James P. O’Neill, Commissioner of the New York City Police Department (“NYPD”), announced that JEFFREY EPSTEIN was arrested Saturday and charged with sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors.  The indictment unsealed today alleges that, between 2002 through 2005, EPSTEIN sexually exploited and abused dozens of underage girls by enticing them to engage in sex acts with him in exchange for money.  Epstein allegedly worked with several employees and associates to ensure that he had a steady supply of minor victims to abuse, and paid several of those victims themselves to recruit other underage girls to engage in similar sex acts for money.  He committed these offenses in locations including

Manafort at MCC Manhattan

According to Bureau of Prisons, Paul Manafort has been transferred to MCC. If he is in solitary confinement, then he is on the 12th floor. The MCC is a very depressing place. You are locked down most of the day, especially if you are in solitary confinement, confined to a room, approximately 8 by 6. I was in solitary for two days when I was extradited from Canada. Romance scammer gets prison sentence

Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced that MUFTAU ADAMU, a/k/a “Muftau Adams,” a/k/a “Muftau Iddrissu,” was sentenced today to 51 months in prison in connection with a fraud scheme based in the Republic of Ghana (“Ghana”) involving the theft of over $10 million through business email compromises and romance scams that targeted elderly victims from at least 2014 through 2018.  ADAMU pled guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud on February 12, 2019, before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kevin Nathaniel Fox.  U.S. District Judge Denise L. Cote imposed today’s sentence. Manhattan U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said:  “Muftau Adamu and his co-defendants conspired with others in Ghana to steal millions of dollars from businesses and vulnerable individuals across the United States through business email compromises and romance scams.  Today’s sentencing sends a message that those who facilitate frauds will face significant time in jail.

marriage fraud leads to mass arrest

HOUSTON – A total of 50 people are now in custody following the return of a 206-count indictment alleging varying roles in a large-scale marriage fraud scheme, announced U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Patrick along with Special Agent in Charge Mark Dawson of Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and District Director Tony Bryson of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).   The federal grand jury returned the massive indictment April 30, 2019, charging 96 individuals. To date, law enforcement has taken 50 into custody. Of those, nine are set to appear for a detention hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Johnson at 10:00 a.m. today.   The indictment remains sealed as to those charged but not as yet in custody.   “These arrests mark the culmination of a comprehensive year-long multi-agency investigation into one of the largest alleged marriage fraud conspiracies ever documented in the Houston area,” said Dawson. “By working toget

NEW YORK  — Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced that Andreea Dumitru, a/k/a “Andreea Dumitru Parcalaboiu,” an immigration attorney based in Queens, New York, was sentenced to five years in prison in connection with her operation of a scheme to submit fraudulent asylum applications to United States immigration authorities.  Dumitru was convicted on November 19, 2018, of asylum fraud, making false statements to immigration authorities, and aggravated identity theft following a two-week trial before U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan, who imposed yesterday’s sentence. Manhattan U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S.
