Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Raymond P. Donovan, Special Agent in Charge of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) Special Operations Division, announced today that SHAHBAZ KHAN pled guilty to conspiring to import heroin into the United States, and to attempting to import heroin into the United States.  KHAN was taken into custody by Liberian authorities on December 1, 2016, and expelled to the United States later that same day based on a pending Complaint in this District.  He pled guilty today to a Superseding Indictment in Manhattan federal court before U.S. District Judge Lorna G. Now he is facing life in prison.  He chose the wrong career. He should have been a porn star. I know the place has cameras, but did the cameras catch the pervert on tape? Did the women conspire to get this guy who may have bragged about his libido?  Was there semen on the women's bodies? Too easy to convict if one says, he did this, he did that...The women have a lot to gain and that is reduced time for cooperating with the feds. The defendant has a lot to lose and that is his freedom. I was a former prisoner at MDC Brooklyn and it was a very depressing place. Some guards were rude and obnoxious. Now I see why....
